Stained

The themes found here on ArtyBlogs are all graphics-based reworkings of the default WordPress theme, “Kubrick”… The standard images from that theme have been spruced up a bit and re-designed, to give your blog or site a more interesting look. The two column layout is the same as it always was but, as you’ll no doubt see throughout this site, some of the designs can be quite dramatic.

Due to only a small amount of cosmetic changes to the code, each theme should work with all versions of WordPress — from 1.5 to 2.0 and 2.1 onwards. There are no “bells & whistles” like those found in many other themes, but you can rest assured that the themes found here will work just as well as the default theme in a cleanly installed WordPress blog.

Stained

Stained is a kind of torn-paper affair that has also been referred to as “cloud-like” in it’s appearance. Whichever way you look at it, it’s a little scungy! Like it’s been left in a book bag for two weeks. Still, that kinda look appeals to some people, and I’m one of them…

Not bad. I like what you’ve done. What do you have planned for the sidebar though? I look forward to seeing it again in a few days.

i’ve planned to make a drop-down list for archives and categories: i’ve found something basic and put it in.
after i’ll put my friends’ avatars instead of blogrolls.
it will be great to put an applet for having one page for every post and turn the pages like a book, but i think it’s impossible.

I noticed the author isn’t recorded on the blog entry. On my site registered users can make blog entries. Is there a way to show the author of the post?
