Coffee Chick

The themes found here on ArtyBlogs are all graphics-based reworkings of the default WordPress theme, “Kubrick”… The standard images from that theme have been spruced up a bit and re-designed, to give your blog or site a more interesting look. The two column layout is the same as it always was but, as you’ll no doubt see throughout this site, some of the designs can be quite dramatic.

Due to only a small amount of cosmetic changes to the code, each theme should work with all versions of WordPress — from 1.5 to 2.0 and 2.1 onwards. There are no “bells & whistles” like those found in many other themes, but you can rest assured that the themes found here will work just as well as the default theme in a cleanly installed WordPress blog.

A caffeine inspired, 1950’s style Wordpress Theme in brown and black — with a nifty retro plaid background. Take a nostalgic step back to when coffee was king (to the advertising agencies of the time at least.)

I am not really sure how to install this template. When I download, it comes up as many files. I know how to install A new template with a code, but not in this versiion. Can you tell me how to do this?

I have blogger. Will this work with that?

No, it’s a WordPress Theme, not a Blogger theme. Feel free to use whatever images you want though.

A link back here from your blog would be nice, but don’t worry about it if you don’t want to do that.

Hi, I love your themes. I assume you are also Frisky Wife. I need to ask a silly question. I would like to use your graphical sidebar widgets but do not know where they go. I went to the WP forum and another stated to open a text widget and copy the code in the box and save. That did not work. Where do I put the code to work and how will it change what you see on the sidebar? Thanks!

The themes looks good. But to manage a theme to meet your special need, at least you need to know some HTML. Fortunately, it is not so hard to learn. And by the way, I like coffee:)

Hope > The widgets go in your plugins folder which is located in wp-content. These widgets are only so you can see the graphical sidebar “titles” above each section.

Coffe > Thanks. We try to make the themes as simple as possible. They might not have all the bells and whistles but at least they look good and work well.
